Ski à la Carte is dedicated to providing you with holidays of the highest quality. Our total package will allow you to switch off and relax from the moment you step off the plane. All your needs have been considered, from slippers and robes in the bedroom, to a selection of luxury toiletries in the bathroom. You will have access to one of the best skiing areas in France, with Chalet Isis boasting a ski-in and ski-out location* and Chalet Irene situated in the heart of the old town giving easy access to the lifts. Ski guides can help you make the most of your day on the mountain and we offer different days, catering for different abilities. The remainder of the evening can be spent sitting around the fire, with a port or a brandy and resting the legs ready for another hard days skiing.
* Under normal snow conditions.
The first night of your holiday will start with welcome drinks served with canapés. Six evenings in the week there will be a gourmet five-course evening meal served with choice of complimentary wines (click here for sample menu). This is followed by a cheese board, coffee and mints and a choice of port or brandy. Breakfast will be served in the morning between 8am and 9am with a choice of continental breakfast, cereals, fruit, porridge and a hot option. Complimentary tea and coffee will be available all day and afternoon tea will be laid out at 4:30 with a cake or biscuits to indulge your appetite after skiing. One day a week, the chalet staff will have a night off and we will happily recommend and book one of the resort's superb restaurants for you where you will have an opportunity to taste some of the specialities of the mountains.
We have a fantastic hire shop that we recommend in Alpe d'Huez called Cyril's Sport. All hire equipment can be organised through Ski à la Carte and our guests are offered a preferential rate. We will also deliver all hire equipment back to the chalet for you to save you from carrying it.
Lift passes can also be bought through Ski à la Carte on arrival at your chalet at the resort price. Alternatively we offer a 5% discount on any pre-booked lift passes paid for with the balance of your holiday.
We are happy to arrange private or group ski lessons for you. These can be booked in advance or arranged on your arrival in the resort.
Ski à la Carte is stepping up it's ski guiding programme for the 2007/08 winter season. A dedicated Ski Guide will be available to help you get the most out of this fantastic ski area. Your pass also covers you for a day skiing in either Serre Chevalier or Les Deux Alpes which we will be happy to arrange for you.
(Additional transport costs may apply).
We have decided to take advantage of quieter airports and less traffic so have opted for Sunday flights for 2007/08.
